NICE WORKSHEET BUT ONE DOUBT SHALL CHANGES INTO SHOULD BUT YOU HAVE WRITTEN IN 5 SENTENCE HE WOULD GO TO DELHI THE NEXT DAY

    1. Sirji

It does not affect the narration but for precaution you can use ‘should’.

    2. Rahul

    4. Oindrila Dey

No shall will change into would It’s rules

      1. Sirji

It is not necessary when you have to use with I and we. It would become ‘should’ but if you use ‘would’ even then it would not be wrong.

  2. Abul Barkat Baig

The direct speech is in 1st person, so the auxiliary is “shall”. But in indirect speech, the personal pronoun will change to the third person asking an auxiliary “will”, which has the past tense of ” would”. Hence in place of should, there will be would

    1. Ajeet Sir

      5. My friend said to me, “I shall go to Delhi tomorrow.”

Shall changes to ‘should’ when used with ‘I’ and ‘We’ otherwise it changes to ‘would’ and these are modals that use first form of verbs, so ‘go’ has been used. You can watch our videos. If still have doubts then contact us at WhatsApp 8081370373 or at telegram @AjeetSir.
