Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart

And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

Way—manner, – तरीका
Dust—very small particles, – धूल ।
Dust of snow— small white flakes falling on earth, – बर्फ के महीन कण जो भुरभुरी धूल की तरह थे ।
Shook – to move with short quick movements from side to side or up and down, – हिलना या हिलाना।
Shook down—shook the snow dust down, – हिला कर नीचे गिरा दिया ।
